“Positive Change Unleashed: An Unfiltered Conversation about the Promise, Pitfalls, and Potential of Social Entrepreneurship”

We are delighted to invite you to “Positive Change Unleashed: An Unfiltered Conversation about the Promise, Pitfalls, and Potential of Social Entrepreneurship.” This event is inspired by our new book, "Promise, Pitfalls, and Potential of Social Entrepreneurship: Positive Change Unleashed," and aims to bring the candid, off-the-record conversations we usually have with social entrepreneurs into the spotlight.

Social entrepreneurs have spent decades fostering positive change, leveraging various models, including for-profit and hybrid approaches. Learning from their experiences—both the successes and the missteps—provides invaluable insights for any manager seeking to drive meaningful impact.

Event Highlights:

  • TED Talk Style Interventions: Kick off the evening with insightful talks from the book's co-authors, Concepción Galdón (IE Business School) and Sheila Cannon (Trinity College Dublin), along with Javier Pita, founder and CEO of the renowned social venture Navilens; and João Magalhães, founder and CEO of Code4All and Ubbu.
  • Panel Discussion: Engage in a lively discussion moderated by Gonzalo Fanjul, Founder of Por Causa Foundation and El País' 3.500 Millones blog editor. We will delve into the promise, pitfalls, and potential of social entrepreneurship in a candid and engaging conversation.
  • Exclusive Insights: Experience the behind-the-scenes stories and honest reflections that are usually shared off-the-record, now brought to you in an interactive, public setting.

This event will bring together key players from Spain's social entrepreneurship and social innovation communities, IE’s sustainability and impact faculty, IE students, and our friends and family for an evening of deep discussion and connection.

Don’t miss this opportunity to join an unfiltered conversation about the future of social entrepreneurship and how you can be part of driving positive change!
