We will investigate the scientific ways in which exposure to nature promotes health and well-being of the body, mind and soul. Exploring research from psychology, economics, public health, and several other disciplines, we will discover the many ways that exposure to nature increases health, wellness, and even productivity. The session will conclude with strategies for increasing exposure to nature in our everyday lives. This is particularly important as we transition to the winter season and the days begin to get colder with less hours of sunlight.
