Dear BIE & BIEBIR students, 

We are contacting you to remind you that the deadline to apply to the IE University & Brown University Joint Summer Program 2022 is next Monday, March 7, 2022

This opportunity is open to all IEU freshmen, sophomore and junior students although we especially encourage 1st and 2nd year students to participate in the Program as it would allow you to study abroad at a top US Ivy League School prior to going on exchange and to include it on your CV, positioning yourself higher in the job/internship market. 

The Program at Brown University not only offers you academic excellence in an enriching and welcoming environment but will also provide you with the chance to participate in extracurricular events organized by Brown University as well as to explore Providence and New England.

Travel Stipend  Please remember the BIE Program Management Team offers a travel stipend to the two BIE applicants with the highest GPA! Through this unique incentive, the BIE Management Team looks to encourage those students with intellectual curiosity and interest in engaging with others in a dynamic environment to take advantage of this highly competitive program. 

What you may expect from the program:

  • Dates: Monday, July 11 – Friday, July 22, 2022 
  • Program fee €4.500 with room & board for 14 days on Brown University Campus. 
  • Course taught by Faculty organized by Brown University and additional activities. 
  • Extracurricular activities organized by Brown University. 
  • Brown University and IE University certificate upon completion. 
  • Students are responsible for their travel fees, including flights and transportation to and from Brown University as well as travel insurance. 
  • Option to recognize the summer course for 3 ECTS of electives at IE 
  • *Full vaccination is required to enter Brown campus.
