IE Alumni Association is pleased to announce our new IE Lebanon Club Beirut Chapter representatives:
President: Wael Kechli
Vice President: Camille Attieh
Treasurer: George De Chadarevian
Born in Beirut, graduated with a bachelor in Computer Science from the American University of Beirut in 2004 and in 2008 pursued a Masters degree in the same major. In 2010 and after his graduation with a Masters in International Management from IE, he went back to
Lebanon and was assigned as the CEO of his family owned business. During his academic year at IE he was the alumni manager in IE China Club and a co-founder of the IE Lebanon club – Madrid chapter. As IE alumni are growing around the globe, Wael believes that this group of people can become a change agent in Lebanon, which will certainly have a great impact on our society. Having two top IE’er on team, George and Camille, together they are looking forward to strengthen the network among this group by organizing series of social and professional events for the IE alumni residing in Lebanon and the region.

WAEL KECHLI
Nacido en Beirut, Wael se licenció en Informática por la American University of Beirut en 2004, obteniendo posteriormente un master en la misma especialidad en el año 2008. En 2010, tras haber terminado el Master in International Management en IE, regresó a Beirut donde fue nombrado CEO en su negocio familiar. Durante el año académico en IE fue coordinador de IE China Club, además deuno de los fundadores de IE Lebanon Club Madrid Chapter. Dado que el número de antiguos alumnos aumenta en todas las partes del mundo, Wael considera que esta comunidad puede llegar a ser el motor de cambio en el Líbano, y suponer un gran impacto en la sociedad. Junto con otros dos antiguos alumnos de IE, George y Camille, la intención de Wael es reforzar este grupo, organizando una serie de eventos sociales y profesionales para antiguos alumnos de IE que residan no sólo en el Líbano, sino en toda la región.
