Taking place at the IE Tower Foyer (between the Auditorium & the Sports Center)

Honouring the pioneering women of electronic music hand-in-hands with an IE student-led Dj set. Mosaic Sessions is the enterprise born out of IE Creativity Center's ecosystem. Founded and led by musician entrepreneur Karim El Achkar, it will be featuring some of the most talented she-musicians at IE. 

We'll wait for you and your friends to enjoy the first electronic session of Music Wednesdays at the Foyer on the -4 floor at the IE Tower!

This film is the Finnish Oscar nominee.

This gripping biopic tells the story of Tove Jansson, the visual artist and illustrator who created the world-famous Moomins, the characters that populate many a cherished childhood memory. As a young woman, Tove navigated the tensions between family expectations, social tolerance, and creative success.

The film screening will be introduced by IE professor and art historian Cristina Nualart, who will relate Tove’s life to the historical context of modernity, and the many social changes that impacted on women and artists in particular.
The screening of this enthralling movie will be followed by an open discussion on gender and art, and any other questions that this rich film provokes.

Workshop of introduction to cyanotype on different supports (book pages, canvas...) and color shifts: the magical intertwining of Science and Art.

The photograms are obtained by exposing them to light on photosensitive paper and then developing and fixing the image with the corresponding chemicals.

The whole process is carried out in a darkroom illuminated with red light, obtaining impressive results, where the contrast of blacks and whites contrast takes center stage.

CASA Film Festival's official opening will be held at Segovia's Creativity Center and will be talking about the importance of this year's festival; give visibility to relevant stories with the power to shape the way both women and especially men embrace feminism.

In addtion, IE Film Club will be showcasing their ever first short film entirely produced at IE followed by a selection of recently renowned short films by international she-filmmakers.

IE girl up the club will be featured in this special event as they work with the students in our community to promote gender equality.
