EXAMS WEEK

As exams approach, remember: You’ve got this! Late-night study sessions, challenging case analyses, and camaraderie with peers have prepared you. Take a deep breath, believe in your abilities, and tackle those exams with determination.

You’re not alone on this journey. Professors, classmates, and the entire IMBA community are cheering you on. Conquer those exams and let your hard work shine.

RESPONDUS

In preparation for your upcoming exams please note it will require the use of Respondus in several of your courses. 

Although you already downloaded this tool for the first Exam Week, Respondus is updated frequently, so you must download it, install the latest version to make sure your computer is ready and avoid any unforeseen issues on the day of the exam.

Click here to install it and make sure your device meets the technical requirements. Please reach out to the IT department via Servicedesk if you have any technical difficulty during the process.

CLASSROOMS RESERVATION

We'd like to inform you that MM-503 and MM-502 classrooms are available during the next two weeks (Mon-Fri) from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM for you to have a quiet study space.

OPPORTUNITY! PREPARATION COURSE FOR SALESFORCE MARKETING ASSOCIATE CERTIFICATION

We're thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for you to enroll in our complimentary course, introducing Salesforce Marketing Services and Products through the Preparation Training for the Salesforce Marketing Associate Certification.
 

The preparation course will be asynchronous and will run for four weeks, from April 2nd to April 28th, the content will be online, and students should expect to work at least 5 hours per week for a total of 20 hours. There will be one complimentary touchpoint with a professor in a weekly forum format.
 

There are limited spots so if you are interested and committed to being part of this course, please sign up here before March 19th (EOD).

THE COUNCIL ON BUSINESS & SOCIETY LAUNCHES ITS 2024 STUDENT CSR ARTICLE COMPETITION

From February 14th to March 31st 2024, register and write a winning article on a business, society, or planet topic set by the faculty of the CoBS member schools of business and management covering 6 continents and 15 countries. 
 

There will be 1 student winner, 1 runner-up, and up to 3 finalists nominated per CoBS member school. The results will be announced in early May.
To participate:

  2. Read the attached Student Competition Writing Guide.
  3. Fill out the form and submit your article before March 31st, 2024.

VIVATECH CONFERENCE – DON’T MISS OUT ON THIS OPPORTUNITY!

VivaTechnology is the biggest technology and entrepreneurship fair in Europe, dedicated to showcasing technology, startups, and innovation. It serves as a convergence point for the brightest minds and talents from diverse industries, featuring the most cutting-edge startups and established corporations.
 

The event will take place in Paris, France, from May 22nd to 25th, 2024.
 

For those eager to participate, kindly complete the VIVA TECH REGISTRATION FORM by April 11th (EOD). Your application will be reviewed, and then we’ll inform you of the next steps to secure a four-day pass to VivaTech.
 

The IMBA Team is working with Talent & Careers to prepare those students attending with the tools to maximize networking and job-hunting opportunities at the Fair.

9th EDITION OF THE IE FOUNDATION PRIZES IN THE HUMANITIES

The 9th edition of the IE Foundation Prizes in the Humanities is open!  Hosted by the School of Humanities with the support of the IE Foundation, the Prizes are a wonderful way for our IE community to come together and celebrate our creative and humanistic spirit.   Students, alumni, faculty, and staff can participate in the following creative categories (we accept both English and Spanish submissions in the written categories).

  • Poetry
  • Short Story
  • Short Essay
  • Photography
  • Photo Series
  • Video
  • Digital Art

The deadline for participation for this year´s edition is May 15th, 2024.  Each individual can submit up to 10 participations in total. Winners are announced in July and celebrated in a ceremony in September 2024.  Visit the website for more information and to submit your work.  For any questions, please contact humanitiesprize@ie.edu.

  1. While this bid is NOT binding, everyone's participation is crucial.
  2. Results will be published. This information is key for the next binding bid, particularly if you are interested in courses that demand surpasses capacity. Remember that courses that do not receive enough demand, will be taken off the list.
  3. Updated Index and Interactive Calendar now available in your Electives Guide.
  4. You cannot bid for courses with content/schedule incompatibilities; please refer to the Electives Index for the course incompatibilities.

The Graduation website is now available HERE. Please carefully read the following important information:

Registration Deadline:

  • The deadline to register yourself AND your 2 guests is April 15th at 11:59 p.m.

Registration Process:

  • You should have received an email from the Graduation Team with instructions and the registration link, if not, please find the links to register yourself HERE.

Reminders:

  • It is mandatory for you to register yourself AND your guests by April 15th at 11:59 p.m.
  • If you don’t know who your guests will be for sure before April 15th, please register the guest tickets as “Guest X” as you will be able to modify these later ONLY if you registered them before this date.
  • You will be able to modify registered guests by yourself until April 15th by filling out the form again in the Registration Link.
  • From April 15th until June 14th at 11.59 p.m., if you wish to edit your guests, please send an email to sara.moreno@ie.edu and miriam.lopez@ie.edu
  • If you need more than the 2 guest tickets offered per student, you can ask your classmates if someone will not use one/both their tickets so they can register your guest/s in their form.
