STUDENT WELL-BEING RETREAT

Recharge and Reconnect. From the Center for Health, Well-being and Happiness we believe in taking a pause to slow down, clear the noise and reconnect with our deeper inner self, our creative ability and our journey connected with purpose. The retreat will be hosted by the IE Creativity Center at IE University’s Segovia campus, surrounded by nature. We request that the retreat be a time of health, connection in the moment and limited use of technology. Only 25 spots available!

BREATHE WITH INTENTION: HELPFUL BREATHWORK AND EMBODIMENT TECHNIQUES FOR MOMENTS OF STRESS AND ANXIETY

Most of us don’t pay much if any attention to our breath. We don’t notice it or appreciate it until it fails us, this can happen so easily when we are stressed and anxious. We aren’t aware that we have the best medicine we could ever need right in our own lungs. Breathwork techniques are something we can learn and use any time we need them. With practice and dedication, they can become part of our self-care practice and help us in times when we feel stress and anxiety coming on.

Music for a Mindset

Album created by fellow IE Students and produced at the IE Creativity Center in Segovia!

Research suggests that listening to music increases performance on overall divergent thinking, that is the ability to switch between different concepts and perspectives, rather than seeing the problem from a rigid point of view.
So do give a try to this fresh playlist made by some very talented IE Community members!
