Subject: Happy 2020 IE NYC Alum!

Welcome to 2020!

With the beginning of the new year, celebration most always represents joy, peace, gratitude, and hopefulness. If you look around, you will notice a giving spirit exists unlike at other times of the year.

2019 was a great year for our Community. We had several events, starting with the Women´s Empowerment panel, the second edition of Bagels and Business, IE North America Day, a networking reception with Santiago Iñiguez - President of IE University, a brunch at Central Park´s Boathouse, the Martech Venture Day, a Happy Hour with IESE and ESADE, the Holiday Reception of the Consul General of Spain, and many others.

We look forward to seeing you at the events, and count on your collaboration in the coming year.

We want to take this time to wish you and your family all the very best for 2020!

- Anthony, Dechu, Mariana and Sean

2020 Alumni Survey

The beginning of 2020 provides an opportunity for the alumni community to weigh in on the types of events you would like to participate in during the coming year. It’s also important for the board to get an understanding of how best to communicate with our members. Please take a moment to fill out the IE Alumni NYC Club survey to ensure that you get the most out of your participation in the IE Alumni community.

Add your responses in a few minutes here.

Launch: IE Class Connectors

Earlier this month, we launched IE Class Connectors. Class Connectors are IE alumni in NYC who have fellow cohort members also living in the area. They act as an important two-way communication bridge between those large cohorts and the alumni board, sharing important updates and gathering feedback. Time commitment is minimal at less than 1 hour per month.

If you would like to know more about the pilot, be a class connector or nominate someone else, please email alumni.newyork.club@ie.edu.

We are moving...

Due to capacity issues on WhatsApp groups, we will be migrating our IE alumni club members of NYC from WhatsApp to Telegram before March 1, 2020.

Please use this link to join the new group on Telegram.  The group on Telegram is called Alumni of IE-NYC.

We will support our alumni groups on both Whatsapp and Telegram until you have all had a chance to join the new group by March 1, 2020.
