The first session will present the main challenges of gender equality from an economic, educational and innovation perspective. We will provide, through group discussion, answers to questions such as: what is the purpose of gender policies, or why are they necessary today?

Anita Fuentes holds a BA in media studies from Hampshire College (MA, USA), a master's degree in social science research methodology and several expert and specialist degrees in gender from the Complutense University of Madrid. She is currently dedicated to academic research and is a creator and producer of podcasts. Her interests include gender violence, feminist studies and popular culture.
