The IE School of Politics, Economics & Global Affairs is delighted to invite you the second edition of the rise of the far right, a year later. During this event we will delve into the surge of far-right movements across Europe one year after the elections.

Following his award of the Stein Rokkan Prize 2025, of "The Normalization of the Radical Right: A Norms Theory of Political Supply and Demand" Prof. Vicente Valentim will analyze the factors contributing to this rise, its impact on democracy, and the broader implications for European unity and global relations.
