Details

The session aims to evaluate the state of EU relations with the selected emerging powers on issues like trade and investment, security and defense, climate action, and digital/critical & emerging technologies. It also aims to introduce the perspective from Latin America into the picture.

This session will focus on how the EU can more effectively collectively engage with the emerging powers, focusing on existing vulnerabilities and suitable paths going forward.

Thus, the focus is on shared interest areas and creative partnerships, including in minilateral arrangements. It is part of a broader study in development by the Global Policy Center and FNF.
