Join us for this competition, designed to foster a practical and in-depth understanding of the European Single Market by linking its economic and institutional principles to the tangible benefits citizens experience in their everyday lives.

The session will be structured as follows: Enrico Letta will open the event with introductory remarks and an overview of his report, *“Much More Than a Market.” Associate Dean Borja Santos will then explain the foundations, rules, and evaluation criteria of the competition. Finally, Nikolina Zidek will deliver a short masterclass on political communication, offering practical insights to support participants in developing their projects.

Students will work with the key ideas from the report and translate them into a creative and accessible political communication campaign aimed at the general public. Projects may focus on themes such as free movement, digitalisation, the green transition, innovation, or social inclusion, avoiding technical language and prioritising a citizen-centred approach.

Projects can take a wide range of formats, including social media campaigns, videos, infographics, interactive content, or street-level initiatives. They will be presented on March 12 to a jury composed of Enrico Letta and EU representatives. Evaluation will be based on understanding of the report, connection with citizens, creativity, clarity, and overall communication impact.

All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation. The winning individual or team will be awarded a fully funded one-week experience in Brussels, including flights, accommodation, and the opportunity to work directly with the IE Competitiveness Hub - Brussels. In addition, the winner will have an exclusive breakfast mentoring session with Dean Letta.

Eligibility and participation:
– The competition is open exclusively to SPEGA students, from any programme and any academic year.
– Participants may apply individually or in teams of up to four people.
– In the case of team participation, final team composition will be coordinated by the SPEGA team.
- Absences for this activity will be justified only to registered students.
