Details

As a major Central Asian power, with abundant energy resources and a strategic position, Kazakhstan maintains close relations with Russia - through its membership in the Eurasian Economic Union and the Collective Security Treaty Organization -, with China - through its membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization -, and with the EU - through a Partnership and Cooperation Agreement -, as well as with the United States, in an exercise of balancing diplomacy in an increasingly complex geopolitical context.

We are delighted to welcome H.E. Danat Mussayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Antonio Alonso, Professor at Universidad CEU San Pablo de Madrid, and José Luis Herrero, IE Professor, for an insightful conversation on foreign policy.
