IE School of Politics, Economics & Global Affairs, in collaboration with the European Parliament and IE Global Policy Center, is pleased to host a high-level discussion on the future of the European Union’s power and global positioning.

This event will explore how the EU can strengthen its Single Market and leverage its strategic partnerships to enhance competitiveness, resilience, and geopolitical influence in an increasingly complex international environment.

Welcome remarks will be delivered by Enrico Letta, Dean of the IE School of Politics, Economics & Global Affairs.

The panel discussion will feature:

  • Ilke Toygür, Director, Global Policy Center, IE University

  • Javier López, Vice President, European Parliament

The event will conclude with remarks by María Andrés Marín, Director of the European Parliament Office in Spain, who will deliver the closing address and present the diplomas of the seminar jointly organized by IE University and the European Parliament: “Decoding Europe: Integration and Strategic Autonomy in Times of Global Change".
 

The discussion will take place on Wednesday, 18th March, from 17:30 to 18:45, at the Aula Magna, María de Molina 11, and will be followed by a cocktail reception.
