IE School of Politics, Economics & Global Affairs is honored to host a special high-level conversation titled “Leading from Exile: Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Fight for Democracy in Belarus.”

This event will feature Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, the internationally recognized leader of the Belarusian democratic movement and one of the most prominent voices advocating for freedom and human rights in Europe today.

The discussion will offer a unique opportunity to hear firsthand about her leadership journey, the ongoing struggle against authoritarianism in Belarus, and the broader implications for democracy, security, and geopolitical stability in Europe and beyond.

The session will be moderated by Amanda Sloat, Professor at the IE School of Politics, Economics & Global Affairs.

The discussion will take place on Wednesday, 8th April, from 12:30 to 14:00, at IE Tower (Room 20.04).
