We are thrilled to invite you to a special event showcasing the inspiring climate leaders researched by participants of the 2024 RAIA Summer Research Program! During June and July, our students explored the lives, impact, and leadership styles of some of the world’s most influential figures in the fight against climate change. Now, they will share their insights with you.

Join us as we dive into the profiles of these remarkable climate leaders:

. Mia Mottley – Prime Minister of Barbados, leading small island nations in climate resilience
- Nemonte Nenquimo – Indigenous leader from Ecuador, championing the protection of the Amazon
- Carlos Manuel Rodríguez – Costa Rican former Minister of ENVIRONMENT
- Sonam Phuntsho Wangdi – Bhutan’s voice for climate action and sustainable policies
- Hage Geingob – President of Namibia, steering environmental policy in Africa
- Sheikh Hasina – Prime Minister of Bangladesh, addressing climate vulnerability in South Asia

This event promises to be a unique opportunity to learn about these leaders' transformative efforts to tackle the global climate crisis and to gain inspiration from their visionary leadership.
