In the 2nd episode of our season 2 we feel more than happy to do a recurring session with Next Big Thing AG, a venture studio with a focus in IoT empowered startups.

We are happy to announce our guest speakers Anita Đordić | LinkedIn and Philipp Krüger | LinkedIn. Anita is the Entrepreneur in Residence program leader at Next Big Thing while Philipp is an IE alumnus who started his own startup (Pharmio) recently with the support of Next Big Thing.

Pharmio use IoT and a modular factory design to provide rapid and flexible manufacturing capacity to the growing and overlooked market segment of small to medium sized pharma and biotech companies. And the company's vision is to democratize pharmaceutical manufacturing by reducing up-front investments and lowering the market entry barriers for innovative SMEs.

Founded in 2016, Next Big Thing AG (NBT) is the leading venture studio and early-stage investment company in the Machine Economy. NBT combines technical understanding, innovative leadership, and determination to reimagine the future in ways that empower a more prosperous, sustainable, and democratized world.

By combining the collective experience of forward-thinkers and technology experts, NBT drives sustainable change and provides long-term support to aspiring founders, businesses, and investors through a technical co-founding approach. With a diverse portfolio of IoT, AI, and DLT ventures, NBT has developed a unique way to build industry-leading, venture-funded companies that provide impactful solutions to address current and future challenges. NBT strives to democratize investments and data and want to use technology to put power and ownership back into the hands of the people.

NBT aims to leverage the potential of emerging technologies to accelerate autonomous machine commerce, unlock new types of value exchange, and gain greater access to innovation, development, and financial services. With the help of a diverse network of entrepreneurs, investors, corporates, startups, thought-leaders, and enthusiasts, NBT prioritizes digitalization and technology as a solution to step into the future with optimism and creativity.
