Julia Sanchez

A passionate advocator of IE University, its global alumni network and the power of education to positively impact society. Julia studied at Tulane University earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. She worked in media for Univision & ABC News, eventually transitioning into Financial Markets at Lazard Asset Management, all during an exciting 5 years in Manhattan.Thereafter, Julia pursued her MBA at IE Business School earning her International MBA degree in 2008. In fall 2009, Julia joined IE as Associate Director of the International MBA Program (IMBA) and a year thereafter was promoted to Executive Director, in sum managing the IMBA for 4.5 years. In 2014, Julia took on the role of Head of Global Alumni Relations to promote, strengthen and leverage IE´s vast alumni network worldwide. Julia is bilingual in English and Spanish and proudly calls both US and Spain her home.

Rolf Strom-Olsen
Professor
Rolf Strom-Olsen earned his BA from the University of Pennsylvania, his MA from McGill University and his PhD from Northwestern University, all in History. A former Fulbright scholar and Social Science Research Council Fellow, Rolf is Professor of Humanities at IE Business School and the Director of the IE Humanities Centre at IE University, positions he has held since 2009. His MOOC “Critical Perspectives on Management” has been available on the popular platform, Coursera, since the beginning of 2014. A medieval and early modern historian by training, he is the author of several scholarly articles on the relationship between state-building and ceremony in fifteenth-century France and Burgundy.

Milo Jones
The Climate of Business - Recurring Patterns of Activity Due to Geopolitical Factors.

Dr. Milo Jones has been a Visiting Professor at IE since 2008. In the past, he has worked in senior positions in several international companies, and served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. He is the co-author of Constructing Cassandra: Reframing Intelligence Failure at the CIA, 1947-2001, published in 2010 by Stanford University Press (for a description, see this video). In addition to teaching "Geopolitics" and "Intelligence Tools for the Business Professional", Milo serves on several boards and consults on strategy and the application of intelligence frameworks to business and financial problems. He is currently researching the geopolitics of automation and digital technologies.
