Join us for a fun line-up of FREE activities to raise awareness and funds for IE Foundation Scholarships. Participate in quick challenges such as 3-on-3 Basketball and penalty kicks, tour the IE Tower, and much more! Come and play games with your family and friends (SPORT SHOES ARE MANDATORY). Every game has a prize!

Gonzalo Garland
Executive Vice President of IE Foundation
IE
Gonzalo Garland is Executive Vice President of the IE Foundation. He has had different roles at IE University oncluding Vice President of External Relations at IE Business School in Madrid, Spain, where he is also a member of the Executive Committee. Prior to this he was Director General of International Relations, Vice Dean for Faculty, and Director of the Economics Department. He studied economics at Universidad del Pacifico in Lima, Peru, and at the Universities of Stanford and Pennsylvania in the United States. At present, he combines his management responsibilities with teaching courses on Managerial Economics, Country Analysis and Economic Development Theory.

Julia Sanchez

A passionate advocator of IE University, its global alumni network and the power of education to positively impact society. Julia studied at Tulane University earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. She worked in media for Univision & ABC News, eventually transitioning into Financial Markets at Lazard Asset Management, all during an exciting 5 years in Manhattan.Thereafter, Julia pursued her MBA at IE Business School earning her International MBA degree in 2008. In fall 2009, Julia joined IE as Associate Director of the International MBA Program (IMBA) and a year thereafter was promoted to Executive Director, in sum managing the IMBA for 4.5 years. In 2014, Julia took on the role of Head of Global Alumni Relations to promote, strengthen and leverage IE´s vast alumni network worldwide. Julia is bilingual in English and Spanish and proudly calls both US and Spain her home.
