Today´s business world is VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous). Resilience has become the most critical factor determining whether a company will thrive, endure, or fail during such challenging times. Specifically, business leaders require three core dimensions of resilience to help their organizations not only withstand the forces of VUCA but become stronger.

Dr. Belén Garijo, Executive Chair and CEO of Merck, will share her learnings about how organizations can harness their powers of institutional, financial, and reputational resilience to accelerate growth and increase customer impact.

Belén Garijo is the Chair of the Executive Board and CEO of Merck. She joined Merck in 2011 as Chief Operating Officer of the Biopharma business, becoming President and CEO of Healthcare in 2015. Before taking her current office in May 2021, Belén Garijo served as Vice-Chair of the Executive Board and Deputy CEO.
