This master class is tailored for ambitious minds: In this dynamic session, we demystify the psychology of consumer behavior and its strategic application in the business realm. Be prepared for an immersive experience with an IE professor for Cognitive Neuroscience, Sam Hernández García, who will combine psychological insights with business acumen, providing a unique perspective on how cognitive biases can be harnessed to drive successful business strategies.

By exploring the significance of understanding consumer psychology in the competitive landscape of commerce, this master class will engage participants with case studies of businesses that have successfully leveraged cognitive biases. The consumer journey and future-proof business strategies will also be discussed and examined. The session will be wrapped up with key takeaways, direct applications in the corporate world, and a Q&A session.

Sam has over 15+ years of experience in Organisational and People Development and delivers inclusive leadership and management development programmes across the globe.



A Cognitive Neuroscientist & Biopsychologist, Sam juggles brain research with corporate consulting. Passionate about the intersection of neuroscience, artificial intelligence, personal development, and physical/mental health, she leads personal strategy retreats across the planet and lectures in women universities in Saudi Arabia. She is a frequent speaker on applied neuroscience, leadership and high performance. She holds an MBA (ESCP), a MSc (Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona) and BA (Universidad Pontificia Comillas), is accredited in Behavioural Assessments with the British Psychological Society, is an Accredited Coach and a Practitioner of Applied Neuroscience. She is continuing her research and study of the field of neuroscience through Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and King’s College, London.



Sam’s titanic volumes of energy coupled with her diverse background and cross-cultural lived experience (6 languages, 7 cities, 4 continents and counting!) allows her to galvanise and motivate to achieve personal and shared goals. These attributes have served her well in delivering success and creating brain-friendly cultures across a wide breadth of industries ranging from FMCG, financial services, academia, oil & gas through to elite sports clubs.
