About the topic
Join us to explore the historic Silk Road, a 2,600-year-old trade network connecting East and West by land and sea. We'll trace its origins, rise, and decline by the end of the Middle Ages.
We’ll then examine China’s €900 billion One Belt, One Road (OBOR) initiative—its modern revival of the Silk Road. While touching on the land-based “Belt,” our focus will be the maritime “Road” and its social, economic, and political impact.
Finally, we’ll analyze China’s ambition to become the global leader by 2050, challenging the U.S. across key fronts: trade, currency, technology (including the Digital Silk Road), space, biotech, and media influence.
We hope to see you there.
Register now and don't miss it!
