When: Tuesday, May 27
Venue: NOVA SBE, Haddad Entrepreneurship Institute
About the topic
Across the world, a silent revolution is reshaping the landscape of Entrepreneurship and Finance. While startups continue to capture headlines, a growing number of ambitious professionals and sophisticated investors are turning to Entrepreneurship through Acquisition (EtA) and Search Funds: a pragmatic, proven, and increasingly influential model that connects entrepreneurial ambition with the acquisition and growth of established small and medium-sized businesses.
In this Masterclass, IE Prof. Newton M. Campos, PhD, global expert in Entrepreneurial Finance and Founding Partner of Newton Equity Partners, introduces participants to the fundamentals and global rise of EtA and Search Funds. The session explores why this model has become one of the most compelling paths for those who want to lead, own, or invest in profitable companies with real operations, customers, and cash flows.
Participants will examine the main forces behind this trend, including demographic transition, succession challenges among business owners, and the increasing search for resilient long-term investment opportunities. Rather than focusing on hype, the session highlights decision-making, leadership, ownership, and value creation in the world of acquired SMEs.
We hope to see you there.
