🎵Thinking Out Loud: Trends & Robberies in the Music Industry🎵

Join us on the 29th of March for a particular Music Wednesday in a collaboration between the Intellectual Property Club, Music Club and Enterprise Records Club sponsored by CampusLife, to listen to some tunes and talk about the following questions:

What are the trends in the music industry and our listening habits? Did Ed Sheeran copy a song from Marvin Gaye or use it as inspiration? What about Dua Lipa?🎙️

We will be holding a talk with Carlos García-Doval (COO in Promusicae & Agedi and Adjunct Professor at IE) covering topics concerning the music industry and consumer trends. We will also discuss copyright cases of artists such as Marvin Gaye, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa with the Music Club performing some of their music to see if the songs are copied. This will then be followed by the IE Jam Band and anyone can join!🎸
