Join IE University for a Masterclass followed by an Alumni Panel Discussion about Overcoming the Digital Divide.

About the Masterclass: Advancing Women in Tech

There is a large gap between the percentage of women and men in the workforce worldwide. The DE&I push has created more noise about the topic, especially in male-dominated industries such as tech. However, addressing this shortfall is about much more than doing the right thing and getting more women into the tech world; it’s an economic necessity. What does radically need to change to get more women in the tech industry? Whose responsibility is it? How do organizations need to change their strategies? What type of leaders do we need to create this shift?

You will walk away with the following:

    • an understanding of the current situation in the tech industry
    • the biggest challenges that women are facing in the tech industry
    • practical steps that work and organizations should consider

This Masterclass will be followed by an Alumni Panel discussion where panelists will share their own experiences to these challenges, explore opportunities and ideate solutions.
