There exist many myths and mysteries about therapy. In honor of IE World Mental Health Days, we are dedicating this event to answering common questions and challenging myths around Therapy.
We will have the honor of having as a guest speaker therapist Carmen de Lisa, she will share with us her experience both being a patient and a therapist.
Carmen started going to therapy as a teenager and has been in different therapeutic processes ever since. During this event we will learn about both sides of the therapeutic experience, and will allow us to think about and answer different issues or questions we might have:
  • Fears and concerns of first-timers
  • What if I don't connect with my therapist?
  • How do I know if I need to go to therapy?
  • What goals or objectives should I have in my therapeutic process?
  • Does my therapist judge me?
  • Can I lie to my therapist?
These and many more will be covered in this event. Please join us to get an insight into the things you wish to know about therapy.
