Andrew PW McCarthy is a designer, consultant, and educator. Andrew relocated from New York City to Madrid around a decade ago and works internationally as a designer, creative, and consultant in multinationals and a great many startups, advising and leading organizations to deliver impact via innovation processes, creativity, strategy, customer and user experience, customer centricity, culture, and many fields of design. Andrew studied philosophy and the history of math and sciences, then design, and he spent much of his early career at the independent energy sector publisher, Energy Intelligence Group, where he moved from editorial and journalism to production and design before assuming the role of Creative Director. In addition to project work, he teaches innovation, design and creativity, and entrepreneurship as an Adjunct Professor at IE, a Visiting Professor at Trinity College Dublin, and Adjunct Faculty at other institutions. Andrew is the founding and current Academic Director for the Master in Customer Experience & Innovation at the IE School of Human Science and Technology where he has received multiple nominations for Best Professor and been awarded IE Prizes for Teaching Excellence by students every year for the past five years. Andrew is on the Board of Advisors for Intelligent Futures, MVDM, and numerous startups. Andrew speaks and moderates at events and conferences, practices improv and plays music, and lends his voice to ads and audiobooks, his daughters' bedtimes, and the startlement of animals great and small.

Jennifer Durand is an architect, entrepreneur, and teacher with experience in residential and commercial projects. She is interested in the application of technologies in architecture such as 3D printing, augmented reality, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence.



She is currently the lead architect in her own architecture, design and technology studio called OVA (Office of Versatile Architecture), is co-founder of the virtual architecture research studio OLA.research (Online Lab of Architecture) and teaches Level VI of workshop 14 as a tenured professor at the Ricardo Palma University.



Among her awards and recognitions, she has been the winner of the last call for curatorial projects of Espacio Virtual by the Telefónica 2021 foundation for the project "The power of data", she has exhibited the project "Akakor, the vr experience" in the Digital Futures Young 2020, the same project has been exhibited at Transpiksel 2020, has had 2nd place in the Futurly 2k 2020 contest, has reached a finalist in the Nonarchitecture Social Distancing Housing Block 2020 contest, has had honorable mention in the Piranski Dnevi contest International for students in 2019, among others.
