We are all aware of the influence social media have on our body image, and its correlation with the development of eating disorders. We are constantly exposed to unrealistic ideals of beauty, diet talk, body shaming, thinspiration, weight loss posts, and more. At this conference, a psychologist will discuss with us how social media impacts our body image, and will educate us on how eating disorders develop. This lecture will be followed by a Q&A in which we will be able to discuss any doubts or share personal stories.
