Ignacio Malo
Psychologist
Instituto Centta
Ignacio Malo studied Civil Engineering at the University of San Francisco de Quito, starting with a very promising career, but soon he pursued his true vocation, which was helping people. He decided to leave engineering and travel to Spain to study psychology.
He graduated in Psychology with a specialization in health from the University of Navarra and completed his internships in the psychology department at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra and at the Zuria Day Hospital in Pamplona. He has developed his professional career as a psychologist specializing in Eating Disorders (ED) at Instituto Centta.
In 2022, he enrolled in a double Master's program at the Pontifical University of Comillas. On one hand, he graduated from the MPGS and completed a second Master's degree in Family Systemic Intervention in 2024. He began his internships at Instituto Centta and then started working in the Eating Disorder Unit after completing the Expert program in Eating Disorders at Instituto Centta, accredited by the Official College of Psychologists of Madrid.

Robin Roca

Robin Rica holds a PhD in Psychology, is a Licensed Health Psychologist, and an Associate Professor at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). He is also a PhD Professor at Villanueva University. His vocation was sparked by Eating Disorders, with the aim of helping people overcome this long-term illness that primarily affects young individuals.
He has built his career as a psychologist at Instituto Centta, where he is a partner and the director of the Eating Disorders Unit.
Teaching is his passion. This has led him to become the co-director of the Psychological Intervention Training Center (AFIP) at Instituto Centta and the creator and coordinator of the Expert Program in Comprehensive Intervention for Eating Disorders at Instituto Centta, endorsed by the Official College of Psychologists of Madrid (COP Madrid).
Additionally, he collaborates as a lecturer in various universities on the intervention and diagnosis of Eating Disorders. He also serves as a practicum supervisor for several universities is a member of the Spanish Association for the Study of Eating Disorders (AEETCA), and a founding member of the Eating Disorders and Obesity Working Group of COP Madrid.
