Are we amidst the death of artistry or is the proliferation of AI in the art space inspiring the evolution of art?

AI generated art has been taking the art world by storm. With art made by artificial Intelligence winning prizes worldwide, impassioned debate about what constitutes art has emerged.

The AI Art event hosted by the IE Intellectual Property Club in collaboration with the Arts & Business, Tech & Innovation, and the Big Data & AI Club will provide a holistic perspective on the evolving AI art space and how it impacts artists, collectors and businesses.

Join us to learn about the background and context of AI Art, trends in the art world, as well as the intersection of computer science, art, and the philosophy of art. Explore with us the differences in opinions and perspectives in our panel discussion between a Contemporary Art Dealer, IP professional, Research Scientist, and the Vice Dean of the Arts & Humanities Division.

Following a keynote presentation and the panel discussion we will transition to a networking hour where participants can try out the AI Art tools for themselves, debate, and mingle.

Looking forward to seeing you there.
