Welcome to the Impact Investing Days 2026
The Impact Investing Doctoral Development Workshop offers a dedicated platform for doctoral students working on topics related to impact investing, and related fields. The workshop is organized as part of the Impact Investing Days 2026, to be held in Madrid in October 2026, and is designed to support early-stage and advanced PhD researchers in refining their research projects through constructive academic dialogue.
The workshop aims to foster the exchange of ideas between doctoral students, senior scholars, and experienced practitioners, providing participants with tailored feedback on their ongoing research. It also seeks to strengthen an international community of emerging scholars engaged in impact investing research, encouraging collaboration and long-term academic exchange.
During the workshop, participants will present the current stage of their PhD projects. Presentations will be organized in small thematic sessions to facilitate in-depth discussion and high-quality feedback. Senior scholars will act as discussants, offering critical yet constructive comments on theoretical framing, research design, methodological choices, data analysis strategies, and positioning within the academic debate.
In addition to research-focused discussions, the workshop will include moments dedicated to academic publishing, with the involvement of Editors of scientific journals welcoming research with impact investing contexts and topics.
