As part of the course Feminism, Literature & Business with Professor Celia De-Anca, Moroccan writer Meryem Alaoui will join us (remotely) to discuss her novel 'Straight from the Horse’s Mouth.' Set in Casablanca, the book follows Jmiaa, a sharp-witted and resilient woman making her way through the city’s underbelly while holding onto dreams of a different life. With humor and raw honesty, Alaoui paints a striking portrait of Moroccan society.

Join us for an engaging conversation and bring your questions!
