What is Lightning again?
In simple terms, the Lightning Network is an infrastructure built on top of the Bitcoin blockchain, enabling quick, low-cost transactions without intermediaries.
Why should we care about Lightning?
The potential of this open network to give billions of financially deprived people access to the financial system, and the resulting socio-economic implications are massive. Alexandre will share first hand experiences and generate excitement for this payment network.
This is a joint event of the Bitcoin, Fintech and Coding Club, as the topic is super relevant for developers, FinTechies and people interested in Bitcoin.
Exchanging value digitally affects all of us daily, and we have the chance to be part of a real transformation of the current operating system. You don't want to miss this event!!
