Is your strategy future-proof in the face of the AI revolution?
IE University is convening a high-level debate around Teresa Martín-Retortillo's new book Artificial Intelligence: Rethinking Business Strategy to tackle one of the most pressing questions facing business leaders today: how AI is forcing organizations to fundamentally rethink competition, innovation and value creation.
John Burn-Murdoch, Chief Data Reporter and Columnist at the Financial Times, whose data-driven analysis has redefined how we understand technological disruption, will open the evening in conversation with Teresa Martín-Retortillo, COO-CFO and Non-Executive President of IE Lifelong Learning at IE University. Burn-Murdoch will lead an initial exchange exploring what inspired the book, the toughest challenges Teresa faced in writing it, and the core questions leaders must confront in the AI era.
This conversation will be followed by a panel discussion with the author and leading experts, including Enrico Letta, Dean of IE School of Politics, Economics & Global Affairs, who will bring critical insight into the regulatory and geopolitical forces shaping AI's trajectory. Together, they will examine which strategic principles still hold, which need radical reinvention, and how leaders can navigate an era defined by exponential technological change and geopolitical complexity.
