The IE European Union Journal was founded in April 2025 with the goal of conferring a voice on IE students and equipping them with the tools necessary to conduct detailed research required for responsible involvement in European politics.

We are a student-led publication consisting of two sections: the Academic Section and the News Section. The current Editorial Board consists of the Founder & Editor-in-Chief, Nikola Pantelić; the Academic Section Director, Paul Prinz; and the News Section Director, Zélie Dieleman. The activities of the Journal are supported by IE SPEGA and IE Editorial, as well as by its Academic Advisory Board, which is comprised of professional researchers, graduate students, and policy experts responsible for mentoring contributing authors.

The writing process commenced in November 2025 and is scheduled to conclude in July 2026. The publication of the full issue is expected in September 2026. The News Section publishes new issues on a bi-weekly basis on the website of the EU Club. These issues shall be incorporated into the full issue upon publication in September 2026.

The stances and findings of the articles cannot be directly attributed to the Editorial Board.
