ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN - Collaborative and Explorative Workshop on Generative AI
This workshop is an open, collaborative session for faculty at the IE School of Architecture and Design to explore the potential of generative AI. Framed through a human-centered design approach, this inaugural workshop is designed as an explorative and participatory dialogue, where the organizers will facilitate a collective reflection on how generative AI is currently perceived and used in architectural design, education, research, and practice. The session will draw on participants' experiences and questions to shape a shared understanding of emerging opportunities and challenges. The insights generated in this session will inform a series of future workshops to be held throughout the academic year, each one tailored to the specific needs, interests, and disciplinary contexts of our faculty.
By starting with an open conversation, we aim to co-create a meaningful and adaptive space to think critically, test ideas, and build confidence in navigating AI as part of design education and practice.
4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
This workshop series offers faculty across Academic Areas practical, hands-on sessions covering AI fundamentals, tools, and real-world applications in teaching and research on discipline-specific use cases.
