The traditional master class, focused on the acquisition and retention of knowledge, often ignores the development of critical skills such as analytical and problem-solving skills, decision-making skills and the development of interpersonal and teamwork skills. The Case Method and participative learning approaches have emerged as an alternative instructional method. Students are expected to learn, relatively quickly and effectively, to identify problems, reflect on their causes, propose an action plan and communicate effectively their ideas. The purpose of this workshop is to present a robust introduction to the case method and participation-focused teaching from the teacher's perspective.
