The IE Out & Allies Club has been proudly presenting LGBT+@Work annual conference for the past 17 years - the longest running LGBTQIAP+ student led business conference in Europe.

LGBT+@Work promotes diverse leadership through exchange of ideas and inspirational talks, creation of unique networking opportunities and building a community of LGBTQ+ students, professionals, and allies who truly care and engage with Diversity and Inclusion topics. Speakers, sponsors, and attendees from all around the world, creating a truly diverse, international, and immersive experience.

Wendy Drukier is Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain and the Principality of Andorra since December 2020.  



She holds a B.A. with honours in Politics and Economics from Queen’s University (1990) and a Master’s Degree from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs, Carleton University (1994). 



She joined the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade in 1997. Her first posting abroad was at the Embassy of Buenos Aires (1999 to 2002). She then served as Political Counsellor in Bogotá (2007 to 2009) and at Canada’s Permanent Mission to the Organization of American States in Washington, D.C. (2010 to 2012), where she was also Director of the Department’s Hemispheric Affairs Division. 



From 2012 to 2015, she served as Ambassador to Costa Rica, Honduras and Nicaragua. Afterwards, she held a number of positions in Canada at the headquarters of the Ministry, such as Deputy Director for the Stabilization and Reconstruction Programs Division and Director General of International Organizations. Most recently, she has served as Director General for Economic Development.

Maital Guttman is the global lead for Inclusion & Belonging at McKinsey & Co. In her role, she co-founded The Alliance, a global summit for senior LGBTQ+ executives and has facilitated workshops for senior leaders on strategy, culture and transformational change. She has led workshops and spoken internally at McKinsey and externally at conferences and with clients on diversity and inclusion. Maital has authored several articles on inclusion in the workplace and the experience of LGBTQ+ leaders globally.





Previously, Maital served for three years as a consultant McKinsey & Company, where she focused on topics around economic development, innovation, strategy, culture, change management and talent management. Prior to her consulting career, she founded a documentary film production company, Dewdrop Films, which produced and screened films around the world, including South Africa, Moldova, Israel and the US. She holds an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a BA from Duke University, where she was a Robertson Scholar. Maital was born in Israel, grew up primarily in North Carolina since she was 12, and recently moved back to Israel with her wife and two sons.

Krash Kosmetics was founded by Álvaro Vélez, known on social media as Álvaro Kruse. One of the 100 most important influencers in Spain according to Forbes, he was the first male makeup influencer in Spain, being the first in the history of YouTube Spain to reach 100,000 subscribers. Due to his work as an ambassador for the biggest beauty brands in the market, Álvaro was tired of the fact that none of these brands were aimed at both men and women. Therefore, he founded Krash Kosmetics with the aim of creating a safe environment in which makeup was genderless and labelless. Álvaro currently dedicates 100% of his time to developing the brand, which breaks barriers every year and supports the LGTBIQ+ community in all its actions.

Amara is a DEI Ambassador for Amex GBT with more than 14 years’ experience in the meetings and events industry. Amara is no stranger to the complexity of Diversity & Inclusion in our society, being herself a mixed raced woman, born in Madrid and raised by a Nicaraguan mother and a Spanish father. She embraced diversity from a very young age and had to learned how to navigate privilege at the same time. Prior to working at Amex GBT, Amara lived in Buenos Aires, Luxembourg and spent 7 years in London as a Senior Project Manager for Banks Sadler, where she had the opportunity to work with a very diverse group of people in a very multicultural location. In the past years she has completed her education in DEI by finishing a degree on SCR Leadership at the London Business School and a course on Gender & Sexuality at the University of Pittsburgh.
