POLIMI GSOM REGATTA: TWO DIVISIONS with 2 DIFFERENT RANKINGS: J/24 ONE DESIGN and CRUISE
Once again POLIMI Graduate School of Management is organizing an event in the MBA Sailing League: the POLIMI GSoM Regatta.

Both current Master's and MBA students from any degree and Alumni of IE can apply to participate. Some Uni students can also participate. Please read all the information carefully before you apply!
Schedule:
The arrival date is Thursday, May 9th 2024 - the welcome cocktail takes in the afternoon (around 6 pm) but at least part of the crew division B needs to arrive early in the day to check in the boats. Division A crew are recommended to arrive on Wednesday or thursday morning early to be able to practice on this day.
The official regattas take place on Friday and Saturday, May 10th and May 11th. On Sunday 12th the check out is at 10 am but you can stay around longer if you wish to do so!

There will be two divisions competing in the regattas:
Division A:
- For Experienced Sailors
- Crews of 5 people
- J24
- The IE team needs to have at least one sailor holding a skipper’s certificate (of any level and any nationality).
- The IE teams needs at least 3 people from IE, two can be from other schools.
Division B:
- Open to beginners!
- Crews of 8 people
- Sailing on cruising boats
- 5 people need to be IE, 3 can be from other schools
Applications:
- Each participant has to book in this form.
- You will be contacted shortly to request payment.
- The payments can be done by bank transfer or revolut.
The ticket includes:

Boat hiring

Race entry fee and all race organisation costs (set-up, racing & redress committees, etc.)

Use of the marinas' facilities

Overnight accommodation in hotel for Division A (5); for Division B (8) accommodation is available on board the boats (sheets, blankets and towels are provided)

Breakfast on Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning

Packed lunch for sailors on Friday and Saturday

Dinner and entertainment, formal awards ceremony at the end of the second day of races

The ticket does not include:
- Travel Costs (Flights, taxis to and from the airport)
- Extra drinks and meals
- Please note that a refundable security deposit will be requested at the time of boat pick up.
