Climate Change and Insurance Conference 2026

We are pleased to invite a limited number of students to attend the Climate Change and Insurance Conference 2026 (CCI26), taking place from September 2 to 4, 2026.

The workshop continues its mission to deepen our understanding of how climate change impacts the insurance industry and to foster collaboration between actuaries and academics on both national and international levels.

This is an opportunity to learn from researchers, actuaries, and insurance professionals working on some of the most relevant challenges facing the industry today. Throughout the conference, students will gain first-hand insight into how research is translated into practice, how climate change is influencing insurance, and how academia and industry collaborate to address emerging risks.

Students will also have the chance to engage with speakers and participants during networking sessions, broadening their understanding of the field and connecting with professionals from academia and the insurance sector.

The conference will take place in Segovia on September 2–3 (C. la Moneda, s/n, 40003 Segovia), while the concluding day will be held at IE Tower, Madrid, on September 4, featuring the Climate Change and Insurance Collider. Transportation from Segovia to Madrid will be provided by the conference organizers on the morning of September 4 for all registered participants.
