Sustainability Week 2025

Join us on November 5th for a screening of "Kiss the Ground", a short nature documentary starring Woody Harrison.
We will begin by meeting at the IE entrance at 5:30 pm, and walking towards the creativity center alongside the river.
Once at the creativity center, we will screen the movie “Kiss the Ground” (around 6pm), and provide hot chocolate and popcorn!

As part of Sustainability Week, the IE School of Humanities and the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza present Before Fast Fashion, a digital exhibition that explores the history of textiles and clothing production. Through artworks ranging from aristocratic portraits to depictions of athletes and merchandising, the exhibition traces how fashion has reflected identity, social values, and material practices across time. By uncovering the origins of textiles, sewing, and design, Before Fast Fashion raises awareness of the ethical dimensions embedded in how we produce and consume clothing today.

This round table will bring together high-level experts in sustainability and social impact, moderated by an Master in Sustainability and Business Transformation alumnus, to explore the complexities of professional development in this field. Panelists will share their insights on how to succeed in the sustainability space and how to navigate the global landscape of companies, roles, and opportunities now emerging worldwide.

Alejandro Tostado Loizaga from CHEP, Manuel Baigorri from the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Serhat Öngen from Clarity AI, and Cristina Vaquero Patricio from L'Oreal will be our panelists.

The event will conclude with a networking cocktail, giving participants the chance to connect directly with experts, alumni, and peers.

The 2025 IE University Volunteer Fair is coming to Madrid! After two successful editions on the Segovia campus, this will be the second time the event takes place at Torre Caleido, connecting IE students with charitable organizations and non-profits from the Madrid community.
Over the course of the event, students will have the chance to meet with various organizations and explore volunteer opportunities—ranging from immediate actions to medium or long-term commitments.
