Sustainability Speaker Series for Earth Month. Join Speaker: Miquel Puyuelo, Senior Associate in Sustainable Investments at BBVA Asset Management.

Miquel Puyuelo is a Senior Associate in Sustainable Investments at BBVA Asset Management, where he focuses on the climate and Net Zero strategy of the organization. He is also involved in the development of investment solutions that promote the decarbonization of the economy and the energy transition.

Previously, he worked in the Wealth Management & Insurance division at Banco Santander, coordinating the global sustainability strategy across Asset Management, Private Banking, and Insurance. In San Francisco, he was part of the Sustainable Investing team at Allspring Global Investments (formerly Wells Fargo Asset Management). Among other responsibilities, he was in charge of creating a proprietary SDG assessment tool.

Additionally, he received a full-time scholarship to complete his final year of college at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.

He also holds the CFA certificate in ESG Investments.
