Horizon Deep Tech Startup Competition

Join us at IE’s premier Deep Tech Startup Pitch Competition, co-hosted with the Sci-Tech School, Tech & Innovation Club, Robotics Club, and Futuro Perfecto—the organization behind the renowned Horizon Deep Tech Summit 2025.

This event will spotlight emerging Deep Tech startups tackling some of the most critical challenges in fields like medtech, advance materials, AI, mobility and more. Participating ventures will pitch in front of an expert jury featuring IE faculty, Futuro Perfecto Speakers, investors, and industry leaders. Startups will represent sectors such as biotech, cybersecurity, clean energy, AI, advanced materials, quantum computing, mobility, and more.

🔥 The winning startup will earn a spot to pitch at the official Horizon Deep Tech Summit 2025 — one of Europe’s leading Deep Tech events, taking place this November 26–27 in Madrid at two iconic venues: El Palacio de Santoña and La Nave.

The summit will bring together 150+ speakers, 1,500+ attendees, VCs, EU institutions, and leading innovators from over 30 countries.

🏆 Who Can Apply to Pitch?

Startups must meet the following criteria:

• Operate in a Deep Tech-related industry (see form for examples)
• Under 1 year old
• Team size: 1–5 people
• Low TRL (Technology Readiness Level)
