We live in a turbulent time, but full of possibilities. Knowing the levers of change necessary to transform challenges into opportunities is crucial to transform the country into a more competitive and sustainable economy 5.0. What would be the keys to a Spain 5.0?

From Siemens we have promoted an objective study, prepared by the consulting firm PwC and sponsored by Siemens, on the current situation of the industry and infrastructures in Spain and its main weaknesses, threats, strengths and opportunities. We started the so-called "Digital Decade" in Europe, and with the data obtained, a roadmap has been drawn up to make Spain a technological benchmark thanks to its commitment to an economy 5.0.

We will try to analyze which are the strategic sectors, present and future, of the Spanish economy, as well as other vector aspects of digitization itself such as cybersecurity, digital upskilling / reskilling or the development of innovation ecosystems. If we know what we want to be as a country in 10 years, we will be able to define what measures, structural changes and strategic investments will be necessary in the coming years to achieve greater competitiveness in that Spain 5.0.
