Details

This event is a career-focused panel featuring four professionals with diverse backgrounds in the NGO sector:
- A founder of an NGO (Life Line Fund) with a legal background
- A co-founder of an NGO (Drink Local Drink Tap)
- An NGO professional CEO with extensive field and operational experience (Freshwater, Life Line Fund, Fight for the Forgotten, Bridges to Prosperity, etc.)
- CEO of an NGO (Ugandan Water Project)
The speakers will discuss how NGOs operate, their missions and structures, current projects, and how legal education and skills intersect with NGO work. They will address the realities of an NGO career—including responsibilities, on-the-ground challenges, and the broader impact of their initiatives. The event will also provide actionable advice for students interested in pursuing careers in NGOs, international development, humanitarian organizations, or social justice initiatives.
