🚀 Learn. Build. Launch.

That’s the theme of IE University’s biggest tech conference this year — and if you’re a student, teacher, builder, entrepreneur, or simply curious about where the world is headed, you really don’t want to miss TechIE 2026 (not just for “tech people”).

✨ This is our most ambitious TechIE yet. If you’re into CS, data, natural sciences + tech (biotech/engineering), or even AI regulation, business, or entrepreneurship, expect to meet top people in the sector, network with Big Tech, startups and VCs, and learn what’s next across multiple technical fields.

🤖 Expect hands-on experiences like drone demos and a robotics workshop in the lab, plus sharp conversations on what matters now — The Actual Stack in 2026 technical panel, an AI Regulation masterclass, Big Tech speakers sharing the real playbook to stand out in an AI-native world, and a biotechnology panel.

🧠 Go deeper by stepping into real decision-making with a live study case led by Uber professionals, and be ready for the Company Showcase Floor, where you’ll meet face-to-face, ask questions, and network directly with Amazon, Celonis, Google, Microsoft, plus startups and VCs scouting talent and ideas.

🍸🔥 Close the day with an IE Hackathon and a cocktail networking session with speakers, companies, and students from IE and other universities.

📌 Save the date.

📅 March 25th PLEASE REGISTER IN THE EVENTS IN THE AGENDA BELOW

Signal vs. Noise: The Stack in 2026

Agents. Inference. Vibe coding. Context windows.

Everyone has a take — but who's actually shipping?
This panel brings together software engineers and AI builders from top-tier tech companies to answer the questions that actually matter in 2026: What's in production and what's still a demo? When execution gets cheap, what's the real bottleneck — evaluation, orchestration, taste? What does the best engineer's actual stack look like right now, and what have they quietly stopped using? Where is AI genuinely changing how software gets built, and where is it still falling short?
This is not a keynote. It's not a career panel. It's sixty minutes of first-hand signal from people with visibility most of us don't have — on what frontier companies are building toward, what skills are actually scarce, what's overrated, and what bets they'd make if they were sitting where you're sitting. If you're building something, thinking about where to go deep technically, or just trying to cut through the noise on where this field is actually heading — be in the room.

Robotics Workshop

Join the head of IE University's Robotics Lab and the IE Robotics & AI Club for a hands-on session where you'll experiment, build, and train robots for real tasks — using some of the best facilities and equipment available at IE. You'll build your own walkable robot that can detect and avoid obstacles while working directly with sensors, motors, and control systems.

This is a rare chance to get your hands on hardware, tackle real engineering challenges, and see what it actually takes to make a robot move, sense its environment, and make decisions.

No prior experience required. Just curiosity and a willingness to break things and figure out why.

Spots are limited — if this is on your list, don't wait!

AI Regulation & Impact Panel

As AI systems move from experimentation to real-world deployment, regulation is becoming a core part of how technology is designed and built. This panel explores how frameworks like the EU AI Act are shaping engineering decisions, product development and governance practices. Speakers will discuss the realities of building and deploying AI under regulatory constraints, the role of compliance in technical workflows and the emerging intersection between technology, policy and responsible innovation.
