TECH ROULETTE A 2-Week Hackathon
Spin a wheel. Get a random theme. Build something absurd.
Teams have two weeks to turn a wildcard topic — think napping, office drama, or medieval history — into a real, live, fully built application. No constraints on what you build or how. Just make it work. Make it weird. Make it unforgettable.
Two categories. Two winning teams. €300 each.
🏆 Best Presentation & Idea: the most creative, polished & delightfully absurd project
💻 Best Developed Solution: cleanest code, best technical execution & mastery of the wildcard
Open to everyone. CS students, business students, designers, and total beginners. Teams of 3–5. Solo? We'll match you on Day 1.

AI in Action: Gemini CLI & Antigravity
This workshop is part of Tech Roulette, a 2-week hackathon organized by GDG on Campus IE University in partnership with Build with AI. It's open to everyone, no hackathon registration needed!
Join Jorge del Casar, Google Developer Expert and Head of Tech at ActioGlobal, for a hands-on session where you'll get set up with an AI Studio API key and learn how to configure and use tools like Gemini CLI and Antigravity to turn your ideas and designs into working code.
Whether you're already building your hackathon project or just curious about AI-powered development, this is a great opportunity to pick up practical skills you can start using right away.
Want to be part of the full hackathon experience? Teams have two weeks to spin a random wildcard topic and build a real application around it, with the final demo day taking place at the Google Office in Madrid on April 27. There are €600 in prizes up for grabs across two categories.

AI Agents: a practical guide from theory to practice
This workshop is part of Tech Roulette, a 2-week hackathon organized by GDG on Campus IE University in partnership with Build with AI. But it's open to everyone, no hackathon registration needed!
Join Dr. Ismael Chaile, Google Developer Expert in AI & Cloud, for a hands-on session taking you from the basics of AI agents all the way to applying them in real projects. With a Ph.D. in Distributed AI and Multi-Agent Systems, 20+ years of tech experience, and a background spanning robotics, GenAI, LLMs, conversational AI, and cloud — he brings both the academic depth and the real-world product experience to make this session genuinely useful.
This isn't just theory. Dr. Chaile has built and shipped real AI products as founder of Aineth and is also an Associate Professor at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Expect concrete examples, hands-on practice, and insights from someone who's been working with intelligent agents long before it was cool.
