As part of Earth Month, the Fashion Design program invites you to participate in a collective planting event that brings sustainability into practice through design.
This initiative builds on the project initiated at Campus Cardenal Zúñiga, where we began cultivating dye-producing plants as a natural and renewable source of color. Now, we are relocating and expanding selected species into our Creative Campus, creating a living resource that will be accessible to our school community.
By growing our own dye plants, we aim to reduce reliance on synthetic processes and reconnect design with ecological systems. This garden will serve as a long-term, sustainable source of natural pigments for academic projects, encouraging experimentation with environmentally responsible materials and methods.
The event invites students to actively contribute to this evolving ecosystem—planting, learning, and engaging with the full cycle of creation, from soil to textile.
Join us in building a shared space where sustainability, material research, and creativity grow together.
