Upcoming Events
We are here to make our university a place where everyone can thrive regardless of their gender. We follow the law and lead the way in integrating the gender perspective in everything we do. We work closely with faculty, students and staff with the support of the government of Castilla y Léon.
Join us in promoting gender equality!
We have four main goals:
To raise awareness and promote equality and prevention of gender based violence. We do this through various activities, such as the CASA FAF II collaboration, the Purple Corner, the Volunteerism Fair, HerStory The Photo exhibition and through STEM Talent Girl.
To involve teachers in research related to the promotion of equality. We did this by having our professors collaborate in the Unbreakable Conference of IE Girl Up Club and collaborating with CIVICA Universities. Sharing our best practices on gender equality
To involve teachers in projects to promote equality and prevent gender based violence. We did this by partnering with DolightUp, with a program for gender inclusive teaching, creating a best practices guide for our faculty.
To update and disseminate protocols for the early detection and referral of situations of gender based violence. We do this by sharing our resource guide on sexual and gender based violence with the IE community.
USEFUL INFORMATION
If someone tells you they were sexually assaulted or are in a toxic relationship, remember that you might be the first person they have told. Your response helps determine whether they feel safe and supported telling others or seeking additional help.
IE University is committed to fostering gender diversity and equality, which is a critical component of the transversal effort to implement the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development
