IE University

Santiago Iñiguez de Onzoño has played a leading role in business education over the past two decades and actively contributes in different forums and networks to foster innovation and development in higher education. He was portrayed by the Financial Times as “one of the most significant figures in promoting European business schools internationally”.

He is the past Chairman of AACSB and also serves on the boards of Renmin University Business School (China), Antai Business School (Jiao Tong University, China), LUISS Business School (Italy), Mazars University (France) and FGV-EASP Fundaçao Getulio Vargas (Brazil). He has also served as member on the Board of EFMD and the Awarding Body of EQUIS.

Iñiguez is also the Vice-Chairman of Financial Times/IE Business School Corporate Learning Alliance, a leading provider of custom education programs for companies worldwide. He is the author of “The Learning Curve: How Business Schools Are Reinventing Education” (2011) and “Cosmopolitan Managers: Executive Education That Works” (2016), as well as co-editor of the forthcoming book “Business Despite Borders: Companies in the Age of Populist Anti-Globalization” (2018), all published by Palgrave Macmillan.

Iñiguez is a regular speaker at international conferences. He is one of the 500 Global LinkedIn Influencers, and frequently contributes in different journals and media on higher education and executive development.

Iñiguez is Professor of Strategic Management. He holds a Degree in Law, a Ph.D. in Moral Philosophy and Jurisprudence (Complutense University, Spain) and an MBA from IE Business School. He was a Recognized Student at the University of Oxford, UK.

Dr. Celia de Anca is currently the Director of  Scief (Saudi Spanish Center for Islamic Economics and Finances) and the Center for Diversity at IE University, where she is also a  professor of Diversity and Islamic Finance.  She was previously the Director of Corporate Programmes at the Euro-Arab Management School (EAMS), Granada. She has also worked for the Fundación Cooperación Internacional y Promoción Ibero-América Europa. (CIPIE) and at the International Division of  Banco de Santander. She has a master’s degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Boston), and from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. She holds a degree and PhD from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, with a comparative thesis on Islamic, ethical/ecological investment funds and on the London Market.

She is the Author of Beyond Tribalism, Palgrave McMillan 2012, and  co-author of the Managing Diversity in the Global Organization. Macmillan 2007. She had articles published in specialised journals, in addition to regular articles in the press.   She was an external advisor of the Merrill Lynch’s Diversity & Inclusion Council up to 2009. She has been a member of the Executive Committee of IE Business School from 2006 to 2016. She is a member of the Ethics Committee of InverCaixa’ s Ethics Fund, Spain  and a member of the International Scientific Committee of the University Euromed in Marseille, France.  Member of the FAA Accreditation Panel for Islamic Finance  (Malaysia) since 2017.

She was named female executive of 2008 by the Business Women’s Association of Madrid. (ASEME) Her work is regularly cited by the most influential thinkers, among them; Zigmunt Bauman in his final book, Retrotopia . Her work received numerous distinctions, as the 2019 Highly Commended Award for the paper Spanish Women's Career Inhibitors 2007-2017, by Literati Emerald Publishing, and, the best article of Corporate Governance: An International Review in 2016. Ms. de Anca is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Arabic.

Julie Skogheim

Women in Business Club at IE Business School

Julie is the President of the IE Women in Business Club and a current dual degree at IE, completing the International MBA and the Master in Corporate and Marketing Communications. She is a recent member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society for her academic achievements during the MBA. Previously to IE, Julie was working in marketing communications for one of the world’s leading architecture and design firms, specializing in PR and digital communications. Julie is passionate about strategy, brand management, and marketing technology, and has international experience from the Netherlands, Spain, Mexico, and her home country Norway.
